Why not use just regular compressed air. Pure O2 useage would entail great safety and technical considerations because it is a powerful oxidant. It would definately be not allowed in aircraft like helicopters so it would be useless for a large part of the industry that uses airbags. Also regular air would make refilling far more easy than pure O2.

It's dangerous to use pure O2 because it's easily flammable and pure O2 isn't what we breath, so it's better to leave it the way it is now.

Nice concept and with some development it could become something useable
i see O² would not be a good propellant. older models have a nitrogen pressure bottle, i heared that the newer ones are filled with an other gas.(O² is an oxidant, its not flammable on its own)
fgj
Ofcourse it's not self flammable, but during an avalanche all that tumbling cold produce one spark and that is enough to set O2 on fire.
Uros Obradovic
try to light pure O² it won`t burn, but if it comes together with flammable material it can be very dangerous.
with oxygen you can do the ember for barbecue very fast.
but you are right, it is too dangerouse to be used in the abs system.
fgj
I'm sorry but you'r wrong. O2 will burn on the firs sign of fire. Ofcourse that it won't spontaneously combust itself, but ther are lot of things that would easily set it on fire.
Uros Obradovic
i see you know it better
fgj
have you tried this, probably you mixed oxygen with acetylene
fgj
So ... what conclusion did you get?

Time is running out fast! So do not hesitate, come with more innovative ideas!

I already said my thinking of this but this idea improved competition in a way;)
