The Freeride Idea Contest 2015

Product consists of RC helicopter unit, RC camera and transmitter.
Transmitter will be controling unit wich will guide "RC camera helicopter". User could set values such as height, angle and way of recording.
After setting the desireble mode, user simply press strat and "RC camera helicopter" becomes active. "RC camera helicopter" will be guided by signal coming from transmitter. Freerider will ride his skis and enjoy while "RC camera helicopter" record it all.
After finishing the ride user will pull out transmitter form pocket and turn off "RC camera helicopter" wich will land near transmitter, freerider will take his video via USB from "RC camera helicopter" and return product to RC rental.

This way many freerider will have what they allways wanted, a memmory form their rides.

I watched some freeriders clips last night and this idea just pop out. What do you people think about it? And don't forget that if it isn't posible right now, that doesn't mean that it won't be in near future. Capo

I think it will be very possible in a near future and, in my opinion, many people would rent it. I would want to have my video with the RC camera helicopter

Totally possible even now. Personally, I think it would be a pain in the ass to have some little helicopter buzzing around in the peacefull mountains just for the vanity of ski footage of oneself, especially in a popular riding area. Everybody has been skiing for the feeling and pleasure of it, not to see themselves on video. This idea has little to do with freeriding itself. This idea would work great for professional filming purposes but I think RC would be too random to get really good footage and thus you'd need an operator anyways. ptor

It won't be so close so you could hear the buzz oh helicopter and I think alot of people will be interested in this thing. I'm sure that you would like to have some of yours best rides on DVD. Capo

I googled a bit, but all I could find that is similar to this is remote control camera wich needs to be controled by man from ground. Capo

Maybe you didn't read it all the way to the end, but my idea is that camera follows you on it's own. Capo
