The Freeride Idea Contest 2015

Simulator will be useful for those days when people are not in opportunity to do real stuff.

It constists of simulator pad and simulator goggles.
Image projects on simulator goggles and simulator pad folows the movement of images.

Sounds like fun but It already exists as "downhill racer" video game. It is fun but you have a screen in front of you instead of goggles! However the sensory input to the feet of the user could use improvement in the arcade version and the images are computer graphics where they could potentially be video. But then you would be stuck skiing somebody elses run. ptor

I think this is a very good idea, because people do not always have the opportunity to practice and enjoy their skiing opportunity due to time and location reasons. With this product people can still work on their skiing skills and overcome physical boundaries stopping them from skiing. However, as mentioned I think there may already be games that stimulate this experience, especially in wii and other gaming devices. But none the less, great idea! caraujo

There are some similar based games, but this one includes goggles wich simulate environment the best. Uros Obradovic

i think this is a good idea for people who never skied before, getting the feel of it before actually going out into the snow. j_t0rr35
