I think this is a really good idea, and that it would increase skiiers safety. However, you have to keep in mind to have most of the ski resorts pre installed in the program, and that it should be relatively easy to add resorts that are not already pre installed.

I agre with you. Thanks for comment!

it would be a improvement of course, more information for more safety.but is it worth all this technical effort for getting these informations? or you could read them while having breakfast, like the weatherforecast or out of a card.our brain´s got capacity.

how would you realize that, sounds like a rally pilot who gets the information while riding. and it will be very loud around your head. or is it supposed to be just like a ring when the avalanche is behind you? which would be too late anyway...

You will have headphones atached to your goggles and they will be basicly all in one, like mp3 player and communication device. If eny of before mentioned events occure mountain base will inform all riders that are skiing. Info massages will have priority so if you are listening to music, it will stop until info massage ends.

This would be ok. But like steepdown mentioned, it's hard for anyone to realize the signals when they are skiing. I think we should stick something like a small alarm to help people realize easier. Something like a small light or siren stick next to their eyes or ears. And possible a small signal which help savers(maybe) to recognize the skiers' positions. It will help when having accident too.

Maybe you didn't understand me. I said that goggles will have headphones wich will be used for listening of music and for reciving alert massages from base center. You will hear loud&clear that avalanche is comming or some other warning massages that could be helpful.

I think this is a great idea and could be super helpful but would you use a GPS setting so that the goggles would know where the skier was or would you somehow allow the skier to program the goggles with their location. Because say I was skiing one place I wouldn't need or want all of a sudden an alert to pop up that doesn't effect me. Otherwise great idea and would really help with safety.
