The Freeride Idea Contest 2015

Well the general consensus is to go green. Every company in the near future will try to be as green as possible. For ski companies to stay ahead they will need to use solar panels on everything including skis, helmets, and poles. With new solar panel technology this is quite simple, but still expensive. However, it will make bluebird days all that sweeter knowing that you are powering electronics, like the cell phone that dies in the cold, while not missing a run. This is achieved by charging electronics on the lift.
